From insight to impact

Most organisations do not have an insight problem. They have a translation problem — the distance between what they know and what they do.

Most organisations do not have an insight problem. Dashboards are everywhere, research decks pile up, and the analysis is usually better than anyone admits. What is missing is translation: the distance between what a company knows and what it actually does.

That distance is structural, not cultural. Insight arrives in one format — a document, a chart, a study — and decisions get made in another: a meeting, a budget cycle, a roadmap review. Nothing in the system converts one into the other, so the insight quietly expires.

The studios and companies that close this gap treat translation as a designed artefact. Every research output carries a decision attached to it: what changes if this is true, who owns that change, and what number will tell us it worked.

This is why we instrument ventures from the first week rather than the first launch. When the measurement layer exists before the product does, insight has somewhere to land.
